Options.
loving ur profession, ea?
we're in the car, and somehow that topic came out. i wasn't really thinking when i said "i didn't really choose what i wanna be, i just took on the path that was laid out in front of me - the scholarship." to my suprise, my mom said this, "well, you could've applied for PTPTN if u really wanna get ur dream job."
WHOAH. WHEN WAS THAT AN OPTION???!!!!!!
i really, really hate to reminisce about the days when the SPM results were out. i mean, i wasn't that bad, but i wasn't that good either. but i did all i could. i applied for everything that was public. why? because studying in a private college would be out of the question. why? financial reasons i guess, and the fact that my parents never mentioned about this before. i did ponder on the fact that my sister herself studied in KYM, but i didn't thought about that too hard - since my sister's case was special. yeah. her case was always special.
that reminds me. i met someone on the net a couple of years back. i met him on youtube to be exact. all the videos taken by him features his happy high school life. well, considering how lame my high school life was, i can't help but to be impressed. and we got to know each other and e-mails were exchanged. ahaha. lame guiler X_X chatted with him once, and he said i could tell him all of my problems since he was just a stranger - a thousand miles away. i told him about my results and stuff and how i was worried since i didn't have a particular destination to further my studies, and he listened to all of them - well, 'read' is more appropriate i guess. but he gave me a few comforting advice and that's all i need. he even asked me why i didn't consider a private college as a choice. so i gave him the exact same reason as i stated earlier.
"but if i were given a chance, i think i would love to go to Taylors since a friend of mine told me about how awesome it is."
"wait. i'm at Taylors."
LOL. he asked me my friend's name, but i guess it's hard to find one person in a college like that. when i finally got the confirmation letter from MARA, i told him - cuz i was too excited LOL.
but in the end, we never met in college. haiz~ i lost all connections with him during my GREAT SHIFT. sobs. nggh. i didn't care that much really.
i told u. i love abrupt endings.
